1. Is vengeance a driving force for your character? Why? How important is it to them? It was. It's still a fundamental building block of what made her who she is today, and she still carries it with her and probably always will -- it was her only reason to live for a while -- but it doesn't guide her anymore.
2. Has your character committed/completed a major act of vengeance? If so, what did that mean to them? How long ago was it? Captain Ahab was to blame for the shipwreck of the Pequod, which Ishmael thought had killed everyone but her (and Ahab, who she was certain was out there somewhere, who would pay). Everything else in-between was just to get her to revenge.
To make a long story short, five months ago Ishmael had Ahab kneeling, at her mercy -- harpoon in her hand, ready to strike the captain down -- and realized: no. That wasn't what she wanted. Killing Ahab wouldn't bring Ishmael any peace; all it would do would be make her just like Ahab, whose life had been so perpetually ruled by vengeance against the Pallid Whale it'd kept her alive against all odds.
Ishmael ripped the Pallid Whale's heart from its flesh and left Ahab alive; a testament to her wandering years and what'd brought her to this point, and because stealing Ahab's vengeance was so much more of a punishment than killing her could ever be.
"I will watch you live. Because you are the proof of my wandering years.
So that I may endlessly struggle against the devouring seas. The testament to my sins. My Whale."

[...]
"... We'll let her watch as this place crumbles around her.
The Captain must go down with the ship, after all."

3. Has anyone ever sought/taken vengeance on your character? Was it deserved? How much did it impact them? If it's happened at all, it wasn't anything meaningful!
4. Has any of the above happened on the barge? If so, where? Which people were involved? Nope, she's new here. This all happened back home in the City.
5. Is there anything in particular you DON'T want Kahl to know about your character? If so, it will be chalked up to his partial barge nerfs. Nope! Her backstory doesn't exactly map 1:1 to Moby Dick (book), though, but a lot's left vague.

Also, separately, in terms of general god vision,
5. Is your character inhuman, or do they have anything strange going on with the state of their spirit/soul? If so, can Kahl have a sense of what's up with that, even if he doesn't have the language from his own canon to understand it? Ishmael is a Sinner -- alongside eleven others, her soul is bound by chains to that of her manager Dante (who can pull Sinners' soul from the gates of hell to reverse death and injury), and all Sinners have a mysterious connection to Golden Boughs, which are some variety of supernatural. There's some Weird Stuff happening in there.

She can also manifest her own feelings, drives, and goals in Snagharpoon, an ability that changes her appearance and gives her a unique weapon tied to her. This is a direct manifestation of her 'self' -- but it's not particularly stable or fully realized, so she can't manifest it for long.
