1. Is vengeance a driving force for your character? Why? How important is it to them? Yes, it is a driving force in his entire life, starting way back when he was a bitty little boy all the way up to today. The type of vengeance has changed though, within the last few years on the Barge he isn't seeking out the focus of his past revenge since they are now over that part of their lives and are trying to work towards the goals that he also wants - with a side order of maybe killing here and there despite his twin's best wishes.

2. Has your character committed/completed a major act of vengeance? If so, what did that mean to them? How long ago was it? Yup, he has. It was perfectly gruesome and fun but also Completely Surprising since up to that point he didn't know he could do that until it was finally triggered. It actually kinda scared him that he was able to do that but he was a traumatized baby at the time. (Guardian canon is a mess but basically his ability allows him to 'eat' anyone, and he ate his tormentor/master/kidnapper when his power first manifested.)

3. Has anyone ever sought/taken vengeance on your character? Was it deserved? How much did it impact them? Oh yeah, he is the Big Bad of his canon in like the Final Boss and he is not shy about admitting that fact. It was really well deserved and he got his just deserts but being what he and his twin are, they actually made up after the murder/suicide thing they did right before coming to the Barge. Which is where his attitude towards his twin changed.

4. Has any of the above happened on the barge? If so, where? Which people were involved? Not really. The Barge is his place of second chances and he used it to make up with the people he had hurt and learn a bit more of control and now he is a happy Warden that tinkers a lot and has a following of insects.

5. Is there anything in particular you DON'T want Kahl to know about your character? If so, it will be chalked up to his partial barge nerfs. Great details about the abuse he suffered as a kid. It's not that much of a secret but he doesn't need others to know all the details.

Also, separately, in terms of general god vision, 5. Is your character inhuman, or do they have anything strange going on with the state of their spirit/soul? If so, can Kahl have a sense of what's up with that, even if he doesn't have the language from his own canon to understand it? Ye Zun and his twin Shen Wei are members of a race of naturalized aliens called Dixingrens. They are also old as balls as even said aliens count years ( which they kinda don't? time in Dixing is weird. ) The planet they come from has three separate races - the humans, the Yashou (shape shifters) and the Dixingrens which are underground deep dwellers with hidden abilities fueled by the planet's core and/or space. The twins are OP in that Shen Wei can copy any ability he sees while Ye Zun inherits any ability of whoever he eats. At this point in time they are over 10,000 years old, and while they spent a large portion of that in stasis, they still powerful, especially now with the twins sharing energy, thus sharing powers. Also Ye Zun is currently babysitting all the insects on the ship that aren't claimed by another person.

Wu Xie ([personal profile] ragsnbone)
1. Is vengeance a driving force for your character? Why? How important is it to them? Tricky but possibly a soft yes? He is in the middle of a plot created to destroy a 3,000 year old cult of highly specialized people to save his BFF and his other friends from being hounded by said cult. Because they made him mad and such.

2. Has your character committed/completed a major act of vengeance? If so, what did that mean to them? How long ago was it? Yes he has though most of it had been small petty stuff until fairly recently. The acts have gotten darker in the past few years, that for sure, and it made him sad at times because it shouldn't be this way, even though the future needed to be free of this cult.

3. Has anyone ever sought/taken vengeance on your character? Was it deserved? How much did it impact them? Yes they have, and it was kinda deserved? But at the same time, he has this luck in which most of the people that try to kill him somehow, someway just don't try after a while? It's weird.

4. Has any of the above happened on the barge? If so, where? Which people were involved? Nope, Wu Xie has his cameras and his BFF and his Warden so there's no need for him to drop his smiles and pick up his knife.

5. Is there anything in particular you DON'T want Kahl to know about your character? If so, it will be chalked up to his partial barge nerfs. Wu Xie is an open book, but also a confusing one as mentioned below.

Also, separately, in terms of general god vision, 5. Is your character inhuman, or do they have anything strange going on with the state of their spirit/soul? If so, can Kahl have a sense of what's up with that, even if he doesn't have the language from his own canon to understand it? He is a normal human, with a normal abit rich upbringing and a slight taste for a little pettiness of most humans Up To A Point. Said point is that there's a kinda weird thing of how he is a normal person but also has the souls? of? memories? and? snakes? all tied to him. Canon is kinda weird at that but in essence as part of his vengeance thing Wu Xie hunted down these special critters that are a kind of snake that sleep inside rocks until awaken. These snakes record what they see and can share anyone with a certain gene - one which Wu Xie has. He purposely took all the snakes and after getting the memories re-wrote them so the 3,000 year old cult cannot have them. Also Wu Xie might have had a small piece of his soul sent back in time via something called the Bronze Tree and has had contact with meteorite jade and the Bronze Gate, both of which connect to something called The Ultimate. Canon hasn't really revealed what this is but it is such a big thing that it is a closely guarded secret that the 3,000 year old cult has been trying to get at while manipulating the world more to their favor.
