"You could probably learn scrivening then. It would mean you could also release the bindings, though." So that would be up to Vincent, maybe. A matter of trust.
Hanna does his best not to give Kahl a snooty look. His whole art of magic is precision lines, you big lunk. Rude.
"Then he can decide whether I learn it, I'm not going to take that choice away from him too." and maybe if he doesn't want him to now, he can earn the trust to later.
Okay, so he probably deserves that a little given he upset his priest.
Hanna cannot move with a tiger on him, pinned by the weight of his head, so he pets him again, "What can I do for you, then? In exchange." He never expected this to be free.
Hanna isn't about to look a gift tiger in it's mouth.
"I-" He almost asks if he's sure, out of habit. He knows better than that, shutting it. God, he's tired. "Of course."
Hanna's quiet a moment, staring into Kahl's big eyes before he turns on the pew, folding one leg and letting his forehead hit the tiger's chest. "I love him a lot." Some more silence, a thought that's been swirling around all day, "but if he doesn't give me the chance, that's... it'll be okay. He'll be okay. Cause he'll still have you. So, thanks. For choosing him."
That feels good to hear, both things, and Hanna breathes in tiger fur before he pushes himself up off the pew, grabbing Atticus.
"Just...gotta wait for him to call, now. Have a good night, Kahl." And he'll start walking toward the elevator. His bed is calling him and he's not going to ignore it any more.

"If I do it for you, it's fixing it. I'll do it for him, if he chooses to give you the chance. You'll have to speak with him yourself."
