Nokov rests his hand on Kahl's head for a moment as he thinks about what parts matter. "He made a space for me that's without light." Somewhere that's not Nokov's cabin, which is his night but at the Admiral's indulgence. Nokov wouldn't know what to do with the sort of shrine that he's seen in the chapel, but he thinks he can understand them more, now.
