In part because "getting your tongue ripped out for saying something a god didn't like" is the sort of thing that happens in mine.

If Arthur chose to take him up on that offer, it would be a direct confrontation. Warden to warden, mortal to mortal.

[ Zerxus contains multitudes. He is, genuinely, distraught about the actual pain suffered here.

He's also kind of a petty bitch, and that's where the growl in his voice comes from. ]
